The best soups and service was awesome. We missed a good restaurant for our family with having 10 kids. Menu is perfect for all. Would recommend to everyone. The entire staff were so friendly and took the time to answer questions and check on how our food was. I had the best calm chowder I have ever had, and I have spent many years in Boston, Maine and New England. Pit stop blew them away with a fantastic clan filled soup. My wife had the chicken pot pie soup, best ever and she was so impressed. I also tried the sliders and it made me feel like a kid again. This is our new place everytime we feel like going out together or with the kids, we plan to become regulars. So very happy, it made our gloomy Cluny Monday into a happy sun filled day!!

Breakfast is always great, fresh and fairly quick. Owner is nice but a bit over the top.. I do not like to be bothered with fake chatter while I'm trying to eat, still continue to eat here because food is great!

This is by far my favorite breakfast place. I love they have a drive thru. The food is awesome. The owners are super nice and the staff cares...such a cool atmosphere and oh yeah the food is great :)

Yum! This diner recently re-opened after a fire. They cleaned it up well and it looks almost brand new! Real friendly wait staff who get to know you, large daily special selection, reasonable prices and tasty food. The one suggestion would be to have crayons for the kids, as the food choices for them are perfect! Only open 7 am - 3 pm and you can get breakfast all day. Also loved that they refilled my coke in a to go cup.

The food is freash and tasty the survice is super friendly when you walk out you feel like you are part of there family. The type of cafe every town needs. My new favorite place to eat just wish they were open later. if you stop there try the sliders im 51 years old and I have not had sliders this good since I was a kid.

My family loves this place. We go here probably 2-3 times a week. Audra (the owner) treats everyone like family and loves to joke around with her customers. The other waitresses are absolute sweethearts and you feel like you're eating at your family's place and not just a diner. There specials daily, and Audra usually posts them on Facebook in the morning. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything I've had is fantastic. My favorite is the hot roast beef sandwich which you can only get on Thursdays. Check the Pit Stop out and support a local business. Keep up the good work, ladies! :)

The one guilty pleasure I like to indulge in every time I am back visiting Michigan is a famous Detroit Coney. Normally I will make the trek to one of the classic Coney establishments downtown, but last time I was home I discovered this new gem right around the corner from my parent's place in New Baltimore. The service is really what makes this Coney stand out. Audra, who I assume is one of the owners, provides excellent customer service and gives me a reason to go back each time. I've been here three times this summer and will probably stop by at least once more before I head back west. Extremely bad experience this afternoon! My boyfriend ordered a carry out for us. We were really satisfied with their sliders last time that we ordered a sack today, along with regular french fries. The sliders were cooked medium rare. Gross for a small patty. The sliders were also flavorless and not seasoned. The french fries were really soggy and soaked with grease. The restaurant is only two minutes from my house so I didn't really understand this. We were both disappointed and most likely will not return for a little while. We know not to order a carryout and to dine in next time.

The food is outstanding, My wife and I go there every weekend. My favorite is the Southern Pit stop breakfast. The country gravy is the best around here. The rye bread is just so good. The wait staff is the nicest anywhere.

Just moved to the area an kept seeing the little place packed full, so I decided toss top in it lunch one day. I had the special blt on a pretzel bun with chicken noodle soup. It was good, needed more bacon. The bun was great but seemed like it had oil or a crazy amount of butter on it. The staff was friendly and quick about making and bring our food out. I can't wait to go back and see what else they got to wow my taste buds ;-)
